Barcelonese singer-songwriter
Clara Sanabras and her team of
exceptional musicians in The Real
Lowdown, formed this band in 2006.
Based in London, they have performed in
some of the most prestigious UK venues
and festivals and released two highly
acclaimed albums.
Recently praised for her collaboration
with Natacha Atlas, Clara’s song-writing
skills and unique style of singing were

Roscoe is a genre busting finger style
guitarist, singer-songwriter. Has produced
three self released albums and has
performed widely in Britain and Europe
from busking the terraces of the Albaizin
in Granada to Glastonbury festival.

‘Prices of the Hollow Tree’ have been
voted no. 1 in the listener’s chart of
Radio Free Southwest and ‘Silver River’
gained world wide radio airplay.

International Sound Traveller Mr.Eugene
is an independent folk musician who
writes his own material. He lets rip on
a number of issues and instruments:
electric violin, acoustic and electric
guitars.
Expect Russian or Irish sounding fiddling,
head nodding, and songs including
humour, sex, social criticism, love, and
alcohol. He pushes and pulls in various
musical directions, mixing international
influences (USA, Spain, Ireland,
Brighton!) in his lively and accessible
performance. People have compared
Mr.Eugene with Shane McGowan,
others have said David Byrne,
Rory McLeod, The Levellers or even
Leonard Cohen. Alternative International
Folk; full-on songs about people, life and
passion, great production, sound and
arrangements. Mr.Eugene exploits effects,
Irish spirit, English humour, and original
exciting performance!

Compagnie Giulia have been playing an
exciting mixture of medieval music from
all over Europe and music from the
Near East since they formed in 2005.
The band members bring a wealth of
knowledge and experience of different
musical traditions to form their unique
sound. Bass viol player Mike Edwards
was a member of ELO and now plays
with Devon Baroque. Simon Cassell is a
musicologist, and specialist in Turkish
song and Middle Eastern percussion.
Nick Millington (bouzouki) has studied
Greek music. Howard Frey (mandolin and
percussion) has a background in early
and traditional music, and Julia Thomas
(bagpipe, concertina, whistles, and voice)
researches medieval music and has
written new music to Middle English texts
for the band.
