The Gentle Good is also known as
Gareth Bonello, a Welsh songwriter
and guitarist. His music is a blend
of traditional and modern styles
supplemented with gorgeous string
arrangements, banjos and mandolins.
The first two records, ‘Dawel Disgyn’ EP
and a full length album ‘While you slept
I went out walking’ were well received
in the critical press, with Gareth being
compared to Nick Drake, Martin Carthy,
Bert Jansch, John Renbourn and Donovan
by the likes of Mojo and the Guardian.
A captivating live performer,
The Gentle Good can enchant an audience
with just a guitar and has performed
at festivals such as Glastonbury,
The Smithsonian Folklife Festival,
Celtic Connections, Lorient Interceltique,
The Green Man, Latitude and South by
Southwest.

Elizabeth Fields has been working as a
singer, songwriter, guitarist and pianist for
over twenty years.
Having played in bands and performed
as a solo artist, she has developed a
definitive style, but has maintained a
unique and individual quality that is
all her own. Think… Jazz/Funk/Blues/
Rock/Folk/Dance/Trance and you’ll be
somewhere close.
Elizabeth Fields’ first composition,
‘Speak in Sympathy’, was single of the
week on “Kiss FM”, it reached no. 3 in
Jerusalem, and no. 8 in Denmark and
Sweden, 2002.
Following the success of ‘Speak in
Sympathy’, Elizabeth Fields co-wrote the
vocals for Solarstone’s, ‘Seven Cities’
which reached no. 44 in the UK Gallop
charts, no. 2 in our Dance charts and
no. 2 in the World Trance charts.

I have been a trombonist for 32 years,
inspired to play t’bone by a clown in
a glittery suit and pointy hat.
My background goes back to my school
(military style) brass band... moving into
orchestras and wind band through into
the big band in my home town.
I have played music for films, TV, shows,
albums and many bands, my journey has
currently got me playing with some great
Latin groups and Balkan brass, also some
dirty funk and dub.

Mary Humphreys and Anahata are
established on the British folk scene as
enthusiastic and entertaining performers
of traditional material.
With extensive research, skilled
musicianship and a huge variety of
instruments they have unearthed and
brought back to vivid life some rare gems
of English song and music.
They are continually busy at festivals and
folk clubs, with concert performances,
workshops and presentations. They have
made four albums of their music, the
latest ‘Cold Fen’, released in March 2009.
Mary sings traditional songs, mostly in
English and a few in her native Welsh, and
plays banjo and concertina.
Anahata accompanies with melodeons,
concertina and cello, and they play
instrumental arrangements, mostly of
English traditional music.
