Lanarkshire singer/songwriter<br />
John Malcolm has an accomplished and<br />
long-standing career in the Scottish <strong>Folk</strong><br />
<strong>Music</strong> Scene.<br />
As a solo performer and member of<br />
the long established Scots <strong>Folk</strong> Group<br />
Cruachan John’s eclectic mix of Scots,<br />
Irish and American songs continues to be<br />
warmly received by audiences throughout<br />
Scotland and mainland Europe.<br />
John’s song writing ability was recognised<br />
during Glasgow’s Year of Culture when<br />
he won a competition at the “world<br />
famous” Scotia Bar in the city.<br />
John’s new album ‘Sands of Time’ was<br />
selected album of the week by Celtic<br />
<strong>Music</strong> Radio in February 2009.<br />
During the last few years John has been<br />
passing on his song writing skills to pupils<br />
in schools in South Lanarkshire.<br />

Caim are Scotland’s Heather Innes and<br />
Ireland’s Jacynth Hamill. With music<br />
ranging from the lively to the meditative,<br />
Caim aims to bring the depth and<br />
simplicity of Celtic music to a wide<br />
audience. Concerts include Scottish and<br />
Irish traditional songs, contemporary<br />
folk songs, Gaelic song, stories and Irish<br />
dancing as well as Celtic prayers.<br />
Caim music touches the heart, bringing a<br />
sense of calm, uplift and peace. Caim are<br />
available for church services, meditative<br />
retreats, conferences, workshops and<br />
concerts (including ‘House Concerts’).<br />
Live Jacynth and Heather sing a cappella<br />
and in harmony for a pure Celtic sound,<br />

The UK’s greenest band have been<br />
thumping out their brand of junk<br />
percussion on shopping trolleys,<br />
plastic barrels, gas pipes and kitchen<br />
sinks since 1993! They promote and<br />
celebrate that Global Green message<br />
of Reduce – Reuse and Recycle to<br />
Festival, Corporate, Environmental and<br />
Educational audiences.<br />
Past bookings include street corners to<br />
stadiums, from Glastonbury to opening<br />
of the Commonwealth Games. WOS also<br />
facilitate junk percussion workshops for<br />
all ages and abilities which adds to the<br />
fantastic festival experience.<br />
WOS have recently lent their music and<br />
videos have been added to the UN<br />
“Seal The Deal” campaign. WOS now<br />
offset all their carbon emissions through<br />
Tree Appeal and have recently recorded<br />
Eco Hop tracks with Akil and<br />
Domanique Larue.<br />
