Three-piece traditional band featuring<br />
Lynn Tocker on accordion, Frank McGuire<br />
on bodrhan, percussion and vocals, and<br />
Mark Canning on guitar and bouzouki.<br />
Lynn was the first winner of the BBC Young<br />
<strong>Traditional</strong> <strong>Music</strong>ian of the Year Award and<br />
toured extensively throughout the world<br />
aged 17, representing Great Britain at the<br />
European Broadcasting <strong>Union</strong> convention<br />
in Yugoslavia along with Kathryn Tickell and<br />
former <strong>Folk</strong> on Two presenter Jim Lloyd.<br />
This was broadcast live throughout Europe.<br />
Her unique style of playing has earned<br />
her a reputation as an unrivalled exponent<br />
of the accordion and as one of the finest<br />
players on the scene. Frank, who recently<br />
performed on a series of BBC programmes<br />
with such musicians as Karen Mathieson<br />
and Julie Fowlis is a highly respected<br />
bodrhan and percussion player and has<br />
performed with such reputable artists<br />
as the Alison Brown Quartet and Ritchie<br />
Havens. The band has earned a reputation<br />
for fantastic live performances.<br />
