heritage with melodies that conjure
memories of long forgotten songs.
They create a sweet, magical sound of
vocal melodies, angelic harps and dreamy
rhythms that has taken their musical
journey far beyond their roots in the
mountains of North Wales and the spoonplaying
backstreets of North London.

Festival, The Green Man Festival

Touted as the UK’s finest clawhammer
banjo player, Dan Walsh is an exciting
young musician breaking down the
barriers of what can be done on a banjo.
He takes in influences from bluegrass,
British Isles folk, funk, jazz, blues, rock
and various world musics to create an
extraordinary and diverse sound together
with an energetic live show which also
includes his guitar and vocal talents.
He has performed throughout the UK at
festivals, theatres, folk clubs, pubs and
functions both solo and with a multitude
of collaborations including his regular
bands Mother’s Ruin, 100 Man Orchestra,
Land or Sea, the Christi Andropolis Band
and duos with singer Kathryn Davidson
and harmonica wizard Will Pound.
