Technical Officials <strong>Handbook</strong>- ArcheryAccreditationAccreditation is the process that identifies and registers all Games participants. This processestablishes a constituent group’s eligibility to enter a Games venue and the access entitlementsthey need to fulfil their role. All participants in the CWG Delhi 2010 are subject to an accreditationprocess.Subject to the role and function of technical officials the accreditation card grants access tospecified venues/zones. All officials should carry their card at all times and it should be easily visibleto all.A valid Accreditation Card is required to access: all competition and training venues Commonwealth Games Village (CGV) Main Press Centre (MPC) International Broadcasting Centre (IBC) Games Flagship Hotel – the Ashok (GFH)Points to note: International participants receive the Non Valid Pass (NVP) and prepare for their journey to India. International participants arrive in India and the NVP is validated at airport/Accreditation (ACR)centers to become the Games Accreditation card. Indian Residents are invited to the Accreditation centre to collect the Accreditation Card. Any loss, theft or damage to Cards is rectified by a strict renewal process. All access control is affected via a secure bar-coded system.Commonwealth Games 2010 10
