Customs exemption from the Games point of view i.e. publicity material,electronic/office/fitness equipment etc.Restricted/Prohibited Goods The following goods are restricted /prohibited from imported into India: Live birds and animals including pets. Endangered species of plants and animals, whether live or dead. Any goods for commercial purpose: for profit, gain or commercial usage. Indian currency. Foreign currency in excess of prescribed limits. Antiques.Arriving at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) AirportAll Technical Officials will need to carry their passports valid for at least 6 months (i.e. 31 March2011) with them to get entry into India.They should posses a valid visa issued by an Indian Mission abroad or NVP issued by OC CWG Delhi2010. Individuals entering India using their NVP should ensure that the details on their passportmatch those on the NVP. In case they have renewed or obtained new passport, they will berequired to present both the passports at Immigration.All individuals are required to complete the Arrival Card prior to their landing and shall proceed forimmigration clearance along with their travel documents which shall be returned to them afterbeing processed.Arrivals FlowIn coordination with officials from Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL)/Mumbai InternationalAirport Limited (MIAL) and other airports, government agencies (Ministry of HomeAffairs/Intelligence Bureau/Bureau of Immigration, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and CustomsDepartments etc.), OC CWG Delhi 2010 has planned elaborate arrangements for smooth and timelyprocessing of all CGA delegations.The Airport team will facilitate the arrival flow which is divided in three categories (Team A, TeamB, Team C) from aerobridge to car/bus boarding point in vehicle load zone: Team A will receive technical officials at aerobridge and escort them to dedicatedImmigration counters. Team B will facilitate them further for priority immigration clearance at dedicatedcounters. After immigration clearance, Team B along with Accreditation team will ensure a smoothvalidation of their NVPs into Accreditation Cards and will also assist in baggage collection. Team C, after confirmation of the transport arrangement from the car/bus loading point,will assist technical officials up to their earmarked vehicles.Commonwealth Games 2010 7
