Technical Officials <strong>Handbook</strong>- ArcheryDetailed Transportation ScheduleInformation regarding the time tables of technical officials transport will be provided on a per sportand per day basis. A detailed Technical Officials Transportation Guide will be available to TechnicalOfficials upon their arrival in New Delhi.Spectator Officials TransportTechnical Officials who wish to attend competitions as spectators and are accredited for aparticular sport may use the scheduled buses from their accommodation site to/from competitionvenues. Please note that priority is given to Technical Officials who are participating in thecompetition session. Therefore, seats for spectator Technical Officials cannot be guaranteed.Technical Officials who wish to attend competitions as spectators and are not accredited for aparticular sport must use public transport to travel to/from competition venues.Public Transport NetworkThis transport system consists of a Bus Network and a high capacity Metro Rail System. The CWGBus Network comprises of focal points and hubs spread throughout Delhi, using CWG priorityroutes.Services have been designed to connect the CWG venues to: Focal Points in Delhi not connected to the Metro StationsMetro StationsDesignated car park and ride sites (which are remotely located from the venues)A range of temporary measures will assist the operation of these routes. In addition to the CWGBus Network, the Metro Rail system will provide transport services to all constituent groups.Transportation Types and Rights1. T1 – Dedicated car and driver is provided for each individual with T1 Accreditation. A singledriver and a car shall be available for continuous use of up to 10 hours.2. T2 - On demand car pool service available to all T2 accredited clients. This service isavailable only for venues recognized by D2010.3. T3 – Shuttle Bus Service for Athletes and Team Officials to/from competition and trainingand venues in accordance with the competition/training schedule. Dedicated team busesare provided only for team sports viz. Hockey, Netball and Rugby 7’s.4. T4 – This service is of the following two types:a) Technical Officials System – Shuttle Bus Service to/from competition venues (trainingvenues in certain cases)b) Accredited Media and Broadcast System – This is a shuttle bus service that operatesbetween:1. Official Accommodation and MPC/IBC2. MPC/IBC and Competition Venues3. MPC/IBC and Games Village5. T5 – Public transport system for accredited Athletes, Technical Officials, Media,Broadcasters, Ticketed Spectators, CWG Workforce and Volunteers.Commonwealth Games 2010 19
