Technical Officials Handbook- ArcheryPre-Competition InformationOfficial Draw for Qualification RoundsThe draw (the assignment of the Qualification Round target numbers to the Athletes) is closed tothe public and will be carried out in accordance with the FITA Rules at 10:00, October 1 in the On-Venue Results Room at Yamuna Sports Complex Archery Venue. Three archers in A-B-C shootingformat from different countries will be assigned to each target.Technical Officials MeetingThe Technical Officials Meeting will take place on 2 nd October at 14:00 at Yamuna Sports ComplexArchery Venue. Technical Officials are requested to attend. A briefing for all Technical Officials willtake place at the meeting. The briefing will be conducted at the Technical Officials Lounge in theArchery Venue and will last approximately 1 hour. The agenda includes: Roll call Welcome and overview Pre-competition procedure Competition procedureTeam Captains MeetingThe Team Captains Meeting will take place on 2 nd October at 15:00 at the Press Conference Roomin Yamuna Sports Complex Archery Venue. Technical Officials are also requested to attend.Athletes Equipment InspectionThe equipment inspection will be done from 09:00 to 12:00 on October 3, 2010 at the AthletesEquipment Inspection Area in Yamuna Sports Complex Archery Venue.Teams will be called in alphabetical order and invited by the DOS to a tent that will be clearlyindicated in the competition field. All team members should wear their team uniform (1). Also allspare equipment must be brought to the equipment inspection.Athlete numbers must be worn on the archers’ quiver or thigh facing the waiting line. During theequipment inspection a demonstration on the usage of the PDA (unofficial scoring terminals) willbe carried out. We are kindly asking all the archers and coaches to follow the OC volunteers andJudges Instructions in order to proceed with no delays and as well organised as possible.Commonwealth Games 2010 37
