It is not a matter oftime served, or amount of experience, butthe specific and relevant application of therequired knowledge and skills that is assessedaccording to the prescribed content of thecompetency standards (units of competency).RPL applicants need to be committed tosupporting their case by locating and providingsuitable evidence and documentation. At least two forms of evidencefor each unit must be supplied; however, eachpiece of evidence can be used against morethan one unit of competency. If you think that you have already gained theskills required for a Nationally Recognisedunit or an entire Qualification then you shouldconsider applying for RPL.
