Estella Pulse Generators Technical Manual 95PVC ClassificationPVC Sequence• Single PVC V- PVC• CoupletsV-PVC-PVC• TripletsV-PVC-PVC-PVC• Runs (4…8) V-PVC-PVC-…• #VT Episodes More than 8 consecutive PVCThe High Ventricular Rate count is also displayed.NOTE:If in DDD(R) and atrial undersensing occurs, spontaneouslyconducted ventricular events are evaluated as PVC events. For thisreason, we recommend using the PVC analysis in DDD(R) mode onlyin conjunction with bipolar sensing and an appropriately high atrialsensitivity. The interval between two consecutive PVC events must be shorterthan 500 ms (i.e., over 120 ppm) for them to be counted. Otherwise, thesecond PVC will be ignored and the sequence interpreted or terminated. This predominantly eliminates the possibility of PVC events beingmiscounted as a result of atrial undersensing.8.4 Sensor Statistics8.4.1 Sensor HistogramThis function records how often the sensor rate is within certain ranges. The rate range is subdivided into 16 rate classes going from 40 to 180,including bins for rates < 40 bpm and rates >180 bpm. The percentageand total number of sensed and paced events occurring within a rateclass is displayed.Sensor rate recording is independent of the effectiveness of therespective pacing rate, and it is not influenced by inhibition of pacingdue to spontaneous events. Rate data are also recorded in non-rateadaptivemodes.Recording stops when the memory available for recording the sensorrates is full. Recordings can be stored for several years. The frequencydistribution of the sensor rates can be displayed as a diagram duringfollow-up examinations.
