Estella Pulse Generators Technical Manual 79V ssearching tests look for intrinsic conduction using an extended AVdelay of 450ms. In order to protect the patient from high ventricularrates, the feature provides Mode Switching independent of the presentstate of the algorithm. The feature itself becomes suspended for thetime of Mode Switching. When V p-Suppression becomes enabled, thedevice starts in the V p-DDD(R) state and looks for intrinsic conductionby starting a V s-searching. Following any suspension (e.g. Mode Switch),the V pSuppression feature will resume in V p-DDD(R) state. The featureprovides user programmability with respect to the switching criteria inorder to support intrinsic conduction.7.15.2 ProgrammabilityThe V p-Suppression feature will provide the following programmability:Parameter Range DefaultV p-Suppression feature On, Off OffV pS to DDD(R) x/8 cycles withoutV s1,2,3,4 3DDD(R) to V pS x consecutive V s1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 6V pSuppression works only if DDD(R)-ADI(R) mode is selected.7.16 Program Consult®ProgramConsult® provides clinicians with the option to increaseprogramming efficiency by providing programming suggestions forfrequent pacemaker patient conditions and having the capability to storeindividual programming for future usage (can store up to three individualparameter sets for future programming).Program Consult is not an algorithm but uses preset settings basedon the recommendations of the ACC/AHA/HRS guidelines for devicebased therapy*. Program Consult only shows recommendations for* ACC/AHA/HRS 2008 Guidelines for Device-Based Therapy of Cardiac RhythmAbnormalities: Executive Summary: A Report of the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association Task Force on Practice Guidelines (Writing Committee to Revisethe ACC/AHA/NASPE 2002 Guideline Update for Implantation of Cardiac Pacemakers andAntiarrhythmia Devices) Developed in Collaboration With the American Association forThoracic Surgery and Society of Thoracic SurgeonsAndrew E.
