There were six locations planted <strong>in</strong> 2012, all with a history <strong>of</strong> Verticillium wilt. Each site wasplanted with 32 entries, <strong>in</strong> plots that were 36 ft. long <strong>and</strong> 2 rows wide, with four replications pervariety, arranged <strong>in</strong> a r<strong>and</strong>omized complete design. The hot weather <strong>in</strong> 2012 resulted <strong>in</strong> little tono wilt at three <strong>of</strong> the six sites, so the three sites that had sufficient wilt to impact yield will bepresented. These sites are Floydada, Pla<strong>in</strong>view, <strong>and</strong> Garden City. The results were remarkablysimilar <strong>in</strong> terms <strong>of</strong> the top yield<strong>in</strong>g varieties at each site. The follow<strong>in</strong>g varieties yielded <strong>in</strong> thetop five at each <strong>of</strong> the Verticillium wilt sites that they were planted: Fibermax (FM) 2484B2F,FM 2011GT, FM 9170B2F, BX 1347GLB2, <strong>and</strong> NexGen 4111RF.141
