<strong>and</strong> shipped via <strong>UPS</strong> Ground or<br />

<strong>UPS</strong> Ground Hundredweight <strong>Service</strong>.<br />

<strong>UPS</strong> St<strong>and</strong>ard To Canada service<br />

is available for ORM-D shipments<br />

without a contract, provided the<br />

shipper has reviewed the required<br />

checklist <strong>and</strong> service restrictions<br />

with a <strong>UPS</strong> representative. ORM-D<br />

(Consumer Commodity) packages<br />

shipped via <strong>UPS</strong> Air <strong>Service</strong>s <strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>UPS</strong> 3 Day Select SM within the<br />

United States <strong>and</strong> Puerto Rico, as<br />

well as all <strong>UPS</strong> Worldwide service<br />

offerings internationally, are accepted<br />

for transportation on a contractual<br />

basis only.<br />

Jewelry<br />

International shipments containing<br />

jewelry (not including costume<br />

jewelry) are limited to a maximum<br />

value of $500 per package.<br />

Maximum Length<br />

The maximum length per package<br />

is 108 inches or 270 centimeters.<br />

Maximum Size<br />

The maximum size per package<br />

is 165 inches or 419 centimeters<br />

in length <strong>and</strong> girth combined.<br />

For irregularly shaped air packages,<br />

see page 20 for instructions.<br />

The maximum size per import<br />

international package is 130 inches<br />

or 330 centimeters in length <strong>and</strong><br />

girth combined.<br />

Maximum Value<br />

Shippers are prohibited from<br />

shipping <strong>and</strong> <strong>UPS</strong> does not accept<br />

for transportation packages having<br />

a value of more than $50,000.<br />

Additionally, more restrictive value<br />

limits apply for packages shipped<br />

as a result of a request for service<br />

made through the Internet by a<br />

shipper who has a <strong>UPS</strong> Internet<br />

Shipping account only; packages<br />

returned via Print Return Label,<br />

Print <strong>and</strong> Mail Return Label,<br />

Electronic Return Label or 1 <strong>UPS</strong><br />

Pickup Attempt Return <strong>Service</strong>s;<br />

packages shipped via a <strong>UPS</strong> Drop<br />

Box; <strong>and</strong> Prepaid Letters.<br />

Maximum Weight<br />

For domestic shipments, the maximum<br />

actual weight per package<br />

is 150 pounds. For international<br />

shipments, the maximum weight<br />

of a package may vary by destination<br />

– Plants<br />

– Seeds<br />

– Tobacco<br />

The following articles are not<br />

accepted for transportation by <strong>UPS</strong><br />

comply with current government<br />

regulations or laws applicable in<br />

each country. Shipments are subject<br />

to inspection <strong>and</strong> possible delay by<br />

customs officials or representatives<br />

of other government agencies.<br />
