Shipping Information
– Charges for customs clearance
are not included. We will provide
customs brokerage services unless
otherwise specified by the importer.
Brokerage charges, duties and taxes
will be billed to the importer unless
otherwise indicated by the shipper.
– Rates include pickup and doorto-door
delivery.
– UPS On-Call Pickup SM is available
at no additional charge.
– A Non-Resident Importer (NRI)
account allows all duties, taxes
and brokerage fees to be billed
to the U.S. shipper who holds
the account. Refer to page 15 for
further explanation. If you have
any questions about NRI, contact
your UPS representative.
– For larger packages, oversize
charges may apply. See page 22
for details.
– The rates shown are for shipments
originating in the United States.
– To determine your destination zone,
see section beginning on page 68.
– Any fraction of a pound more than
the weight shown requires the next
higher rate.
– The minimum charge for a
multiple-package shipment will
be based on an average weight
of 15 pounds per package.
– To determine the rate for international
multiple-package shipments,
see page 74.
– A Heavy Package sticker is required
for any package weighing more
than 70 pounds. See pages 8 and 9
for more information.
– A package with an actual weight
of more than 150 pounds will
be accepted for transportation
only through UPS SonicAir ® .
