Determine the Zone
EXPORT SHIPMENTS
Where is your package going in Canada? Use the Canada Zone Chart to determine the destination zone for the international
service option (except UPS SonicAir ® ) you’ve chosen.
When a zone is with a box, an Extended Area Surcharge may apply. For the most current information,
refer to UPS.com ® highlighted
or call 1-800-782-7892.
UPS WorldShip ® , UPS Internet Shipping, UPS CampusShip TM or a UPS OnLine ® Compatible vendor shipping system
will automatically determine the zone for you.
UPS Worldwide Express Plus SM , UPS Worldwide Express SM and UPS Worldwide Expedited SM
1. Use the first three characters
of the destination postal code,
and refer to the Canada Zone Chart.
2. Locate the zone for the selected
service option.

1. Use the map of origin state abbreviations
on page 63 to locate
your state.
2. Locate the zone by crossreferencing
the first three characters
of the destination postal code in
the left column with the origin
state in the top row of the Canada
Zone Chart.
United States to Eastern Passage,
Nova Scotia, B3G 1G9, Canada,
the zone is 81 .
For an Expedited shipment from
anywhere in the United States to
the same address, the zone is 71 .

3. UPS Standard To Canada is not
available to the Northwest Territories,
Nunavut or the Yukon Territory.

the zone is 55.
