payment for goods with this process:<br />
1. Importer <strong>and</strong> exporter agree to<br />
purchase <strong>and</strong> sale terms <strong>and</strong> specify<br />
<strong>UPS</strong> Exchange Collect for financial<br />
settlement.<br />
2. The exporter ships the goods by<br />
<strong>UPS</strong>. <strong>UPS</strong> notifies the importer that<br />
a shipment is in transit <strong>and</strong> payment<br />
must be made before delivery.<br />
Import/Export<br />
The notification includes <strong>UPS</strong> bank<br />
account <strong>and</strong> routing instructions.<br />
3. The importer instructs their bank<br />
to wire transfer payment to the <strong>UPS</strong><br />
bank account. <strong>UPS</strong> will not accept<br />
cash, checks, credit cards, PayPal<br />
or Western Union money/wire<br />
transfers.<br />
4. After <strong>UPS</strong> receives payment, the<br />
shipment is delivered to the importer.<br />
5. Upon verification of delivery,<br />
<strong>UPS</strong> remits funds to the exporter.<br />
