Linx7-5 Menu SystemOverview of Menu SystemThe <strong>LINX</strong> terminal has a local menu system to make configuration parametersaccessible and easy to change. They were designed to be: entered, changed andexited by pushing various keys on the keypad.There are 4 Main menus in the Linx7-5 terminal:1. "Terminal Menu" which is used to configure time, date, terminalidentification and passwords.2. "Network Menu" which is used to configure the TCP/IP parametersrequired for network communication.3. "Diagnostics Menu" which is used to test the various hardwaredevices on the Linx7-5.4. “Info Menu” which is used to display various information about thecurrent status of the Linx7-5 terminalUsing Menus from the KeypadSelecting a MenuIn order to access the menus, press the “F1” key when prompted by the display onpower-up.Any menu input field can be reset by pressing the "CLEAR" key at any time. If"ENTER" is pressed to save an entry, a BEEP may be heard if the entry isINVALID. In this case, the original parameter will not be changed. Also ‘EXIT” canbe pressed at any time and the option will not be changed.When “F1” is pressed, the display will change to:1-Terminal Menu< for next menuWhen the 'IN' is pressed, it will allow you to see the names of the three major menus,one at a time.
