Sun Model Code SystemSun cartridges have a seven digit model code. Eachof the digits in the seven digit sequence has asignificnce as shown in the typical model code.The three letter Body Model Code reference appliesto most standard line mount bodies and sandwichbodies.The first two digits of the Body Model Code indicatethe body type and the third letter advises the main portsize/type.If the body is required in ductile iron, a slash and afourth letter is added as shown in the top example.
