-27-SECTION-IVSPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACTERECTION AND COMMISSIONING1.0 Sufficiency of TenderThe contractor by bidding shall be deemed to have satisfied himself as to all theconditions and circumstances effecting the contract price, as to the possibility ofexecuting the work as shown as prescribed in the contract, as to the generalcircumstances at the site of the works, as to the general labour position at site,and to have determined the price accordingly.2.0 Programme of installation and commissioningWithin 30 days of receipt of letter of acceptance of the bid, the contractor shallsubmit to the IKIWL for approval of comprehensive programme in the form ofPERT Network/bar chart and any other form as may be required by the IKIWLshowing the sequence of order in which the contractor proposes to carry out theworks including the design, manufacture, delivery to site, erection, hooking-up,commissioning, trial run & hand-over, thereof. After submission to andapproval by the IKIWL of such programme, the contractor shall adhere to thesequence of order and method stated therein. The submission to and approval bythe IKIWL of such programme shall not relieve the contractor of any of hisduties or responsibilities under the contract. The programme approved by theIKIWL shall form the basis of evaluating the pace of all works to be performedby the contractor. The contractor shall update the PERT network every month,submit it to the IKIWL and shall inform the IKIWL the progress on all theactivities failing on schedule for the next reporting date.3.0 Preparations of drawings for approvalThe contractor should visit the site to acquaint himself in respect of existing siteconditions and to know the details/information required for understanding thenature and type of civil construction works involved in the project.The contractor shall submit to the IKIWL approval:a) Within the time given in the specification or in the programme, such drawing,samples, patterns, and models as may be called for therein, and in numberstherein required.b) During the progress of works and within such reasonable times as the IKIWLmay required such drawings of the general arrangement and detailed of theworks as the IKIWL may require.IKIWLSignature of Bidder
