VARI❋LITE® - VL1100 ERS LUMINAIRE USER’S MANUALPower and Data Cabling RequirementsAC PowerWARNING: Other than described herein, do not power a VL1100 ERS Luminaire from a dimmedcircuit - even in "Non-Dim" mode. Dimmer and non-dim modules are not suitable sources of powerbecause their output modifies the AC wave form. This may work for a short time, but will eventuallyresult in power problems, luminaire mis-operation and/or failure. Using a dimmer or non-dim moduleto power your VARI❋LITE® luminaire will void your luminaire’s warranty. The luminaire requires standard AC power distribution from 90-264 VAC, 50/60 Hz in order to powerall internal electronics and motors. It is equipped with a 3-pole Neutrik® PowerCon® lockingconnector (with contacts for line, neutral, and premating safety grounds) for the purpose of AC input. The mating Neutrik PowerCon® connector is supplied, however, you will need to purchase orconstruct a cable appropriate for your application.Neutrik PowerConConnector (supplied)Figure 2-1: Power Connector3-Pole NeutrikLocking Connectorfor AC inputCurrent vs. VoltageThe following tables provide the luminaire’s current draw at specific voltages.
