Mapping the NetworkBuilding a MapAsantéView 2.6 provides two methods for creating maps:❏❏Automatically — using the Discover Subgroup commandin the Configuration menu.Manually — adding each logical device individually tothe map. The AsantéView Management Station automaticallyvalidates them.∆If you are managing a number of remote subnets, youshould create a subgroup map for each subnet.Building Maps Using theDiscover SubgroupsCommandEach Asanté hub on your network should have an IP address. To see thehubs in AsantéView 2.6, you need a map.
