Using the Panel ViewAsantéFAST 100Management ModuleMenu BarThe menu bar provides both direct module control functions and accessto network statistics windows.Except for the Agent Identification Configuration window, all windowsfor the AsantéFAST 100 Management Module mentioned in thissection are accessible only from the AsantéFAST 100 Management Modulemenu bar.The following paragraphs explain the menu items. Menu items are listedin a Menu Bar Item/SubMenu Item format. For example, the Validatemenu item is listed as File/Validate, and Identification is listed as Configuration/AgentInformation/Identification.File/ValidateValidates and updates the front panel display on the screen if it differsfrom the physical layout of the management module.This window is accessible only from this menu.File/CloseCloses the AsantéFAST 100 Management Module panel view.This window is accessible only from this menu.Configuration/Get Information/IdentificationOpens the Group Identification Information window if anygroup is selected. If no group is selected, it opens the Agent IdentificationInformation window.This window is also accessible from the Agent CommunicationInformation window.(Choosing Configuration/Get Information/Identification opens theAgent Identification Information window; however, this windowis read-only.)Configuration/Get Information/CommunicationOpens the Agent Communication Information window. Thiswindow displays communication information about the ManagementModule such as physical address, IP address and, dependingon the type of connection, In Band communication information orOut of Band communication information.Clicking the Identification button within the Agent CommunicationInformation window opens the AsantéFAST 100 Group Informationwindow. This displays group information such as moduledescription, group index, group state, number of ports, and modulehardware version.Configuration/Get Information/ChassisOpens the AsantéFAST 100 Management Module Chassis Informationwindow and displays information about the selected modulechassis, such as chassis type, backplane type, backplane revision,and group number capacity.Page 3-26
