Playback InformationDescriptionThis displays the information about the file currently playing.FormatPC IParametersNo parameters.Response Formatresponseresponse is of the format: ttt«sp»ss«sp»bbb«sp»Mwhere:• ttt is the current time position in the file, given in seconds. If playback is stopped, this valueis 0.• ss is the MP3 sample rate. This value can be one of 32, 44, or 48 (32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, and 48kHz respectively).• bbb is the MP3 bit rate. This value can range from 32 up to 320, indicating 32 kbps up to320 kbps. If the MP3 is VBR, this value will change often during playback.• M is the stereo encoding mode. Play ToneDescriptionThis command plays a tone derived from the parameter. The tone is played indefinitely untilthe rMP3 receives either the Play Tone command again with no parameter, or the Stopcommand. If a file is being played when the Play Tone command is received, playback willresume if the Play Tone command is received with no parameter.Note: Tones are generated using the VS10xx decoder's “Sine Test”. The range andquantization of frequencies are pretty limited.
