Proton robot developer’s notes:This audio module is really great and professional. It plays MP3 and WAV files ofdifferent sizes and background.You could also use it to store data on the SD card.Record your own voice, edit it with a audio editor program like gold wave or so – add arobotics –like effect and save it on a SD card – fun guaranteed!This audio module communicates with the RS232 protocol.DescriptionThe rMP3 module allows designers to integrate high quality MP3 playback into designs with an easy touse TTL serial protocol.Sound files such as voice prompts, sound effects, and music can be played using the rMP3. MP3 playbackcan be CBR (Constant Bit Rate), or VBR (Variable Bit Rate) up to 48 KHz at 320 Kbps. MP3 files are storedon SDHC, SD or MMC cards, in a format readable by your PC. PCM (WAV) files and IMA ADPCM files canalso be played.In addition to playing audio files, you can use the rMP3 for your data access applications as well. TherMP3 can create files and store data to SD or SDHC cards which can be removed, and read with anystandard MMC/SD card reader on a PC.
