Peccolo, Treasurer, Chief Investment Officer, andInterim Chief Financial Officer9The University administration has identified additional revenue/institutionally fundedprojects for FY 2011-2012. The projects are listed below:1. UTK – Baker Center Renovation: This project will renovate approximately 5,500gross square feet for the Honors Program. The total estimated cost of the projectis $300,000, which will be funded by gifts and institutional reserves.2. UTK – Solar Powered Recharging Stations: This project will install ten (10) solarpowered recharging stations on the Knoxville campus. This project will becompleted by UT-Battelle. The total estimated cost of the project is $600,000,which will be funded by the Federal Department of Energy and NissanCorporation.3. UTK – Storm Damage: This project will repair damage to multiple buildings onthe Knoxville campus associated with the storms in April 2011. The totalestimated cost of the repairs is $10,000,000, which will be funded from insuranceproceeds.4. UTC – Fire Alarm and Sprinkler System Improvements: This project will makefire alarm and sprinkler system improvements to the Lockmiller Apartments andJohnson Obear Apartments. The total estimated cost of the project is $1,200,000,which will be funded with Housing resources.MOTION:That additional revenue/institutionally funded projects outlined in the meetingmaterials be approved.220
