Definition: Number of persons with communicable diseases in a period in relation to the total population. As “communicable diseases” we include: TB, Malaria, Dengue and HIV. They are measured separately depending on specific case of each disease. Description: It is a tool for national control over diseases in terms of quantity; it offers information about the rate of population having a disease in a specific period.
