FundingIntroductionThe funding <strong>of</strong> “Laboratório Associado – Centro de Neurociências e Biologia Celular” comprises the followingfinancing items: Global funding by FCT, Project FCT funding, national <strong>and</strong> international project funding by otherfinancing agencies as well as other funding.During <strong>2008</strong> global funding by “Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT)”, concerning global institutionprograms ascended to 2.464.977,48€, namely:Extension <strong>of</strong> Plurianual 2006: 146.268,32€Plurianual <strong>2008</strong> 1.882.328,78€“Infrastructures” 239.396,45€Science Program <strong>2008</strong> 139.492,44€Doctoral Program 57.491,49€141Funding <strong>of</strong> projects, namely FCT, national <strong>and</strong> international projects supports the main part <strong>of</strong> the running costs<strong>of</strong> <strong>Center</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Neuroscience</strong> <strong>and</strong> Cell Biology.FCT ongoing projects, as well as other national <strong>and</strong> international projects, which are discriminated below,comprised the total value <strong>of</strong>: 1.689.991,55€.Projects financed by FCT ascended to 1.504.761,52€.
