2008 Wisconsin Conference JournalDeveloping Leaders for the ChurchNew Visions, the college’s music ministry touring company, led worship celebrations ineight churches. The Summer New Visions Company, composed of five students, directedweeklong programs in four churches and led four weeks of camping programs. Fivestudents brought Vacation Bible School programs to eight local churches through the NewBeginnings program. These teams provided weeklong programs for 1000 children andyouth. Two NCC students from Wisconsin attended the 2007 United Methodist StudentForum at the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington.Relationship to the ConferenceWe affirm our affiliation with the Wisconsin Conference and request continued support bysending us your students and financial support for scholarship aid.Harold R. New initiatives in Distance Learning to serve the underserved—including fivenew online courses in the fall of 2008!5. Growing partnerships with African American church leaders and institutions.6. New partnerships with other schools, judicatories, agencies and congregations!7.
