Staff and residents can submit work orderselectronically and follow the progress of the work on-line.12) The Marketing Team began using a new marketing software program, REPS Leads,in January of 2007. The program offers a better means of scheduling follow-up activities,communicating between team members, reporting relevant data and tracking results.Partners:13) Evergreen strengthened partnerships with Aurora hospital through the Post Surgicaland Rehab Center at Manor View and end-of-life in-patient care.14) Evergreen was the recipient of two special grants in 2007 from our affiliate organizations.The Ladies Benevolent Society: Advocates for Older Adults donated funds for a new weightscale and a step exercise bicycle for ShareHaven residents. The P.E.O. Sisterhood H.E.L.P.Fund Board donated funds for an Air Chair for residents of the Health Center.15) Traci Raether, VP Quality and Organization Development, has valuable connectionsas the new president of the UW Oshkosh Alumni Association. Traci’s active involvementwith her Alma Mater emphasizes her strong commitment to higher education. She is therecipient of the first-ever UW Oshkosh College of Nursing Faculty and Staff Alumni Awardin recognition of her professional and leadership achievements.16) Ken Arneson, Evergreen President/CEO, spoke at two United Methodist Churchesabout Evergreen’s connection with the UM Church. He also met with local rural churchesabout how to best serve their congregations.17) The Christmas Box Angel of Hope statue was placed in a quiet location along SawyerCreek on the east side of the Evergreen campus. This project, designed as a special placefor parents in remembrance of their children who have been lost, is a collaboration ofEvergreen Retirement Community with the Compassionate Friends of Oshkosh and theOshkosh Area Community Foundation. Families are able to purchase remembrance brickson the pathway around the seating area.18) Evergreen supported the Oshkosh Area United Way by helping to kick-off the 2007campaign as a Pacesetter organization.Performance measurement systems:19) The work of several teams of Evergreen employees culminated in the submission inearly 2007 of an application for the Wisconsin Forward Award which is modeled uponthe Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. In August Evergreen was recognized at anawards ceremony in Madison as a winner at the Proficiency Level. After extensive training,the Evergreen Quality Coordinator began his duties with the state as a Wisconsin ForwardAward Examiner in 2007.Awareness as “a community of possibilities”20) The Village Referral Reward Program continued throughout 2007.
