OBSERVE PERSONAL PROTECTION MEASURES!In this connection make sure to observe the safety information on page 50 andpage 52.The following maintenance steps must be carried out:• Check for tightness and for possible contamination on the air side.• If there is a risk of frost, also check the safety devices regularly, or take appropriateprecaution measures such as draining the equipment or adding antifreeze.• Check that pipe connections and mountings are secure.• Clean air side if necessary (blow through heat exchanger using compressed air orlow pressure water).• Air vent.• Clean condensate tray and condensate drain.• Check siphon, top up if necessary.• Clean droplet eliminator with descaling spray.Further measures before the cold season• Drain cooling coil before the winter start if necessary. As the system pipes in thiscase have relatively small diameters, it must always be assumed that some waterwill remain in the unit following normal drainage. For safety reasons, the systemmust also be blown through with compressed air to remove any remaining water.60 PR-2006-0019-GB • Subject to modifications • Status 05/2009
