This command is only applicable if youhave a PRI network interface connected to your system.Syntaxprinumberingplan ParametergetisdnunknownDescriptionReturns the current setting.With this parameter, the numbering plan is identified tothe upstream switch as ISDN, and the number type,which is either national or international, is determinedfrom the dialed phone number. If the dialed phonenumber starts with the international dialing prefix that iscurrently selected, the type is set to the internationaland the prefix is removed from the number before thenumber is sent to the upstream switch. Otherwise, thenumber is marked as national and passed to theupstream switch without modification.This is the default selection. With this parameter, thenumbering plan and number type are sent to theupstream as unknown, and the dialed phone number issent without notification. The unknown parameter ispreferred and should work with all properly configuredPBXs and with most telephone company switches. Anotable exception in North America is an ATT 5ESSswitch, which is provisioned with Accunet, or an ATT4ESS switch.
