In 194-1 it was transferred <strong>to</strong> East Prussia.From June 1941 the division particip<strong>at</strong>ed in the eastern campaignin the northern sec<strong>to</strong>r. It crossed Lithuania and L<strong>at</strong>via and enteredRussia near Opochka, advancing <strong>to</strong> the Valdai Heights southeas<strong>to</strong>f Demyansk.
