As a general rule, each 1203-FM1requires the power capacity of two of the standardFLEX I/O modules, so you cannot install as manystandard modules as you normally would when usingthe 1203-FM1. Refer to the following chart todetermine the number of 1203 and standard modulesthat may be installed together in your system.Remove field-side power before removing or insertingthis module. This module is designed so you canremove and insert it under backplane power. Whenyou remove or insert a module with field-side powerapplied, an electrical arc may occur. SCANport cables areavailable in either male-to-male or male-to-female configurations.
