All measuringand test equipment used in the calibration of <strong>Sierra</strong> transducers are traceable toNIST Standards. <strong>Sierra</strong> is ISO-9001 registered and conforms to the requirements ofANSI/NCSL-Z540 and ISO/IEC Guide 25.<strong>Instruction</strong>s for Returning Your Instrument for ServiceThe following information will help you return your instrument to <strong>Sierra</strong><strong>Instruments</strong>' Factory Service Center and will ensure that your order is processedpromptly. Prices may vary depending on the flow range, type of gas and operatingpressure of your unit. To request detailed pricing contact your local <strong>Sierra</strong><strong>Instruments</strong> distributor or contact one of our offices directly. Our expedite fees are:three-day turnaround 25%, two-day turnaround 40%.Please follow these easy steps to return your instrument for factoryservice:1. Obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from <strong>Sierra</strong><strong>Instruments</strong>. You may obtain this from the factory by calling (800) 8660200 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PST Monday through Friday. Youmay also obtain this number via e-mail by contactingservice@sierrainstruments.com.2. Once you have obtained an RMA number, complete the RMA form. If yourequire service beyond calibration, but do not know which service(s) will berequired, describe the symptoms as accurately as possible on the RMA form.Submit electronically or by fax to (831) 373-2414.3. Pack your instrument carefully. Use the original packaging and foam orbubble wrap (packing peanuts NOT recommended) and include a copy ofthe RMA form (complete with <strong>Sierra</strong> supplied RMA number) with theunit(s). This is particularly important when shipping the medium and highflow versions. Due to their weight, they can be damaged in transit if notpacked properly.70
