When no line can beinserted, you are notified. No re-sequencing is done by the system.functionThe insert/replace/delete function lets you insert, replace, or delete a line of datawithout specifying a subcommand name. To insert or replace a line, indicate thelocation and the new data. To delete a line, indicate the location. You can indicatethe location by specifying a line number or an asterisk. The asterisk means that thelocation to be used is pointed to by the line pointer within the system. You canchange the line pointer by using the UP, DOWN, TOP, BOTTOM, and FINDsubcommands so that the proper line is referred to.Chapter 1. <strong>TSO</strong>/E commands and subcommands 107
