LINK CommandSTORENXreplaces the existing module of the same name in a program library with anew module, regardless of the executable status of either module. If youspecify the NAME statement, you must provide the replace option (R).STORENX is supported only by the binder.NOSTORENX | STORENX(NO)is the default value, and can be specified as STORENX(NO[REPLACE]).STORENX(NEVER)prevents the save of a non-executable module even when no module withthe same name previously existed in the target library.REFR | NOREFRREFRspecifies the load module is to be marked refreshable if the input loadmodules and program objects was refreshable and the OVLY operand wasnot specified.NOREFRspecifies the output is not to be marked refreshable. NOREFR is thedefault.SCTR | NOSCTRSCTRspecifies the load module created by the linkage editor or binder can beeither scatter loaded or block loaded. If you specify SCTR, do not specifyOVLY. This is meaningful only for the system nucleus.NOSCTRspecifies scatter loading is not permitted. NOSCTR is the default.OVLY | NOOVLYOVLYspecifies the output module is an overlay structure and is therefore suitablefor block loading only. If you specify OVLY, do not specify SCTR. OVLY issupported for load modules and PM1–level program objects.NOOVLYspecifies the load module is not an overlay structure. NOOVLY is thedefault.RENT | NORENTRENTspecifies the output module is marked re-enterable provided the input loadmodules and program objects was re-enterable and the OVLY operand wasnot specified.NORENTspecifies the load module is not marked re-enterable. NORENT is thedefault.SIZE(integer_1,integer_2)specifies the amount of virtual storage to be used by the linkage editor. The firstinteger (integer_1) indicates the maximum allowable number of bytes. Ifinteger_1 is omitted, the binder does not limit its use of storage that is belowthe 16 MB line. integer_2 indicates the number of bytes to be used by thelinkage editor buffer as the load module buffer, which is the virtual storage areaused to contain input and output data. If this operand is omitted, SIZE defaultsChapter 1. TSO/E commands and subcommands 167
