The services by which one member caninvoke another in the same PDS or PDSE include LINK, LOAD, XCTL, andATTACH.CAUTION: The program to be tested should not have the name TEST orthe name of any existing TSO/E service routine.‘parameters’specifies a list of parameters to be passed to the program being tested. The‘parameters’ are valid only with the NOCP or TP keywords. If you specify theCP operand, the system ignores the parameters. The list must not exceed 100characters, including delimiters.LOAD | OBJECTLOADspecifies the named program is either:v a load module that has been processed by the linkage editor or binderand is a member of a partitioned data set (PDS)v a program object that has been processed by the DFSMS/MVS* binderservice and is a member of a partitioned data set extended (PDSE).If both LOAD and OBJECT are omitted, LOAD is the default.OBJECTspecifies the named program is an object module that has not beenprocessed by the linkage editor or the DFSMS/MVS binder service. Theprogram can be contained in a sequential data set or a member of apartitioned data set.If OBJECT is specified on the TEST command, the tested program will benamed TEMPNAME.CPspecifies the named program is a command processor.NOCPspecifies that the named program is not a command processor. If tp_name contains an apostrophe, you must enter twosuccessive apostrophes for each single apostrophe. The TEST command does not recognize transaction program alias names.
