<strong>Al</strong>-<strong>Quran</strong> <strong>English</strong> <strong>Translation</strong> (<strong>Kanz</strong>-<strong>ul</strong>-<strong>Eeman</strong>)70. I am only revealed that I am not but a manifest warner.71. When your Lord said to the angels, I shall make man from the clay.72. And so when I have fashioned him perfectly, and have breathed into him of My spirit, then fall you downprostrating for him.73. There fore angles fell down prostrate, all of them together.74. But Iblis He waxed proud, he was among the infidels.75. <strong>Al</strong>lah said, O lblis', 'what hindered you from falling prostrate before that which I made with My own hands?Have you been proud or you were indeed among haughty ones?76. He said, 'I am better than him, You have made me of fire and created him of clay'.77. <strong>Al</strong>lah said, 'get you out from the heaven, for you are rejected'.78. And undoubtedly, My curse is on you till the Day of Judgement.79. He said, 'O my Lord, if it is so then grant me respite till the day when they are raised'.80. <strong>Al</strong>lah said, 'certainly, you are of those that are granted respite'.81. 'Till the day of the known time'.82. He said, 'By Your Dignity I shall necessarily, beguile them all'.83. 'But those among them who are Your chosen bondmen'.84. <strong>Al</strong>lah said, 'then the truth is this, and I speak the truth.85. Undoubtedly, I shall necessarily fill Hell with you of those who will follow you all together.86. Say you, 'I ask of you no wage for this <strong>Quran</strong> nor I am of those who affect.87. That is not but an admonition to the entire world.88. And you shall surely know its news after a time.Surah Number 39: Az-Zumar (The Troops, Throngs)Revealed at: MakkahTotal Verses: 75ALLAH in the name of The Most Affectionate, the Mercif<strong>ul</strong>.1. The sending down of the Book is from <strong>Al</strong>lah the Dignified, the Wise.2. Undoubtedly, We have sent down this Book to you with truth, therefore worship <strong>Al</strong>lah being purely Hisdevotee.3. Yes, the sincere exclusive devotion is to <strong>Al</strong>lah only. And those who have taken for protectors other than <strong>Al</strong>lahsay, 'we worship them only so that they may bring us nearer to <strong>Al</strong>lah'. <strong>Al</strong>lah will decide among them concerningthat wherein they are differing. Undoubtedly, <strong>Al</strong>lah guides not him who is a great ungratef<strong>ul</strong> liar.4. If <strong>Al</strong>lah had willed to take a son for Himself, He wo<strong>ul</strong>d have chosen whom He had pleased out of His creation,Sanctity is to Him. He is <strong>Al</strong>lah the one <strong>Al</strong>l Dominant.5. He made the heavens and earth with truth. He rolls the night around the day and He rolls the day around thenight and He has employed the sun and the moon into service. Each moves to an appointed term. Do youhear? He is the Dignified, the Forgiving6. He has made you of a single so<strong>ul</strong> then He made its mate from that and sent down for you eight pairs of cattle.He makes you in the wombs of your mothers, first in one pattern then in another, in threefold darkness. This is<strong>Al</strong>lah your Lord, His is the kingdom. None is to be worshipped, besides Him, then where are you turning away?7. If you be ungratef<strong>ul</strong>, then undoubtedly, <strong>Al</strong>lah is independent of you, and He likes not the ungratef<strong>ul</strong>ness of Hisbondmen, but if you be thankf<strong>ul</strong>, then He likes it for you. And no so<strong>ul</strong>-bearing burden will bear the burden ofanother. Then you are to return to your Lord, and He shall inform you of what you used to do. Surely, Heknows the secrets of the hearts.8. And when any trouble touches man, he calls upon his Lord leaning towards Him, then when <strong>Al</strong>lah grants himany favour from Himself, he forgets what he called for before, and begins to assign peers to <strong>Al</strong>lah so that hemay lead astray from His way. Say you, 'carry on a little with your infidelity, undoubtedly, you are among themen of the Hell.9. will he who passes the hours of the night in devoted obedience, prostrating and standing fearing the Hereafter
