any existing organization (e.g. the Interagency Council on Homelessness and Affordable<strong>Housing</strong>) should provide a forum for convening the Resource Consortium.By June 2009 <strong>OHFA</strong> will provide recommendations for collaboration and efficiency to includemethods for measuring the effectiveness of these efforts.Improving research and data analysisSeveral SME Workgroups reported a lack of core data and a lack of data analysis. <strong>OHFA</strong>will explore the potential of an Affordable <strong>Housing</strong> Research Office within the <strong>Agency</strong>. Suchan Office will exist through cooperation between various agencies (state and federal) andthrough partnerships with research organizations (e.g. <strong>Ohio</strong> State University John GlennInstitute). By April 1, 2009 <strong>OHFA</strong> will produce a report on the feasibility of such an effort.The report will include funding, staffing considerations, scope of service and, if feasible atimeline for implementation.Resource Inventory<strong>OHFA</strong> will improve the Resource Inventory developed in the <strong>Plan</strong> by more thoroughlydeveloping the information contained therein. The information will also be organizedpursuant to the need being addressed and will include contact and application information.The inventory will be modified to a web-based format.48
