See Appendix B,Standards 12 & 12A. Sidewalk curb ramps will be required and shall bedesigned in accordance with Standard Drawing 720-6. See Appendix B,Standard 12B.1. Construction Requirements:The sidewalks shall be constructed in accordance with Section 720of the S.C.D.O.T Standard Specifications for Highway Construction,Edition 2000. The materials shall be in accordance with Section 701of the S.C.D.O.T Standard Specifications for Highway Construction,Edition 2000.2. Maintenance Requirements:Spartanburg County will not maintain sidewalks in subdivisions. AnAssociation shall be in place to maintain the sidewalks in the entiredevelopment or each individual property owner must be responsiblefor the maintenance of the sidewalk in front of their parcel. Ifmaintenance is required on a section of sidewalk, SpartanburgCounty may notify in writing the Association or property owner ofneeded repairs. (Amended 10/21/2002)2-67
