The workers areusually well motivated because they are working for themselves.However, it is hard for co-operatives to expand because the moremembers there are, the harder it is to make decisions.Members of co-operatives become involved in making decisionsabout which they may have no knowledge or experience.Public sector organisations●●●●The public sector is any organisation that is owned by thegovernment and run on behalf of the people.The Army, the BBC and the Post Office are examples of publicsector organisations.Some services are public sector because they are considered to bevital, for example, the National Health Service.Privatisation means putting public sector organisations into privatehands.6
