SecureWay Directory ServerThe configuration <strong>WebSphere</strong> using the SecureWay Directory Server V3.2.2 asLDAP user registry is covered in 10.13, “Connecting to directory servers (LDAP)”on page 317.<strong>IBM</strong> Directory Server<strong>IBM</strong> Directory Server 4.1 does not differ much from the SecureWay DirectoryServer V3.2.2. The configurations for <strong>IBM</strong> Directory Server are the same as forthe SecureWay Directory Server as shown in Section 10.13, “Connecting todirectory servers (LDAP)” on page 317.Lotus DominoThis section covers the LDAP configurations for Lotus Domino <strong>V5.0</strong>6a.Configuring <strong>WebSphere</strong> to use Domino LDAPIn order to set up <strong>WebSphere</strong> security settings using Domino Directory as theLDAP server, it is necessary to specify a <strong>Security</strong> Server ID, that is, the user IDunder which the server runs for security purposes. This user ID should be anyuser registered in the Domino Directory (Notes or Internet/intranet users) with anInternet password set. We recommend that you create a new specific user in theregistry to be used by <strong>WebSphere</strong>.For that purpose, start the Domino R5 Administration with a notes ID having atleast author access for creating new documents in the Domino Directory; makesure the UserCreator role is selected and follow these instructions:1. Open the Domino Server from the left server bookmark pane and select thePeople and Groups tab.2. Click the Add Person button.3.
