TRAINING(1) The Polytechnic and the Union are committed to training anddeveloping employees in order to continually upgrade theirprofessional skills and knowledge for better work performance.Towards this end, the Polytechnic shall circulate StaffDevelopment Plans to all employees via the Learning NeedsAnalysis module;(2) Encourage staff to identify other suitable courses relevant to theirprofessional needs and include them in the proposed IndividualTraining Plan (ITP). Staff can seek NP sponsorship to undergothese ITP and other relevant courses.(3) The staff development programmes are outlined in Schedule X tothis Agreement.VIIIRE-EMPLOYMENT ON RETIREMENT42. RE-EMPLOYMENT(1) As re-employment on retirement is a fresh employment, NP willtake the opportunity to review and identify suitable reemploymentjob roles for retiring staff which would leverage ontheir experience and capabilities.
