Action Request System 5.1The Long and Short options for Date/Time Style are based on the followingsettings:! In a Windows environment, the date and time display format is based onthe Regional Setting Properties Control Panel. If the AR System server isrunning under a different account name or using the default userconfiguration and you are unable to change the regional properties, youcan set the ARDATE, ARDATEONLY, or ARTIMEONLY variable.! In a UNIX environment, the date and time display format is based on theARDATE, ARDATEONLY, or ARTIMEONLY variable for UNIX. If you do notuse ARDATE, the display format is the default format for the languagesetting, with the time zone determined by the TZ environment variable.For more information on short and long date/time formats, refer to theDeveloping AR System Applications: Basic guide.Accessing a Localized View of a Form in a BrowserThe mid tier shared directory contains locale-specific versions of theweb-based login and logout pages following the format: login_.jsp.These files are loaded during the installation of AR System Mid Tier.Users can access a localized version of a form view by specifying the localeand deployed name of the view in a URL.
