<strong>Action</strong> <strong>Request</strong> <strong>System</strong> <strong>5.1</strong>Understanding the Server Events FormThe Server Events form captures the server changes that you record. TheServer Events form enables you to notify other servers of cache changes ifmultiple servers are sharing the same database, it can also notify interestedclients of cache changes and user or group events. For more information, seeUsing Server Events in Workflow on page 253.The options on the Server Events tab of the Server Information dialog boxenable you to specify what activities you want to record to the form. For moreinformation on selecting Server Events options, refer to the Configuring <strong>AR</strong><strong>System</strong> guide.The Server Events form is similar to other <strong>AR</strong> <strong>System</strong> forms. You can addadditional fields and workflow to it, but you cannot delete the four reservedfields, which are discussed in the following section.How the Form Is CreatedThe Server Events form is created automatically by the server and containsfive reserved fields:! 800 <strong>AR</strong>_RESERV_SVR_EVENT_TYPE! 801 <strong>AR</strong>_RESERV_SVR_EVENT_CAUSE! 802 <strong>AR</strong>_RESERV_SVR_EVENT_DETAILS_1! 803 <strong>AR</strong>_RESERV_SVR_EVENT_DETAILS_2! 804 <strong>AR</strong>_RESERV_SVR_EVENT_DETAILS_3These five fields distinguish the Server Events form from all other forms.There can be only one Server Events form in the <strong>AR</strong> <strong>System</strong> database;therefore, only one form contains the five reserved fields specific to the ServerEvents form: 800, 801, 802, 803, 804.238 "Chapter 10—Server Events Form
