Action Request System 5.1When you use an external web service that requires a SOAP header, ARSystem Administrator will automatically make an element calledSOAPHeader under the ROOT element. You can map elements inside theSOAPHeader just as you would regular elements. The external web servicemay be using the SOAP header for some other reasons not related toauthentication, for example, license keys.If you are consuming an AR System web service, AR System Administratorwill create the SOAPHeader element and it will also automatically map theuser name and password to the current user name and password. It does soby setting the arUserId=true and arPassword=true attributes. If you want topass the current user name and password to an external web service, you cando so by setting these attributes yourself. If you do not want to send thecurrent user name and password to an AR Web service, you must set theseattributes to false.Configuring with Internet Access Through a ProxyServerThis section explains how to configure AR System Administrator andAR System Server with Internet access through a proxy server.Accessing Proxy Configuration InformationIf your network administrator has already configured your browser(Netscape or Internet Explorer) with proxy settings, you can view the valuesin the browser’s configuration settings and insert the values in the ar.cfg file.AR System will not automatically retrieve the browser configurations. ForInternet Explorer go to:Tools > InternetOptions>Connections>LanSettings>ProxyServerConfiguring a Plug-inWhen using a plug-in, add ARF-Java-VM-Options to your ar.cfg file— it iscase sensitive. (The default location is: C:\Program Files\ARSystem\Conf\ar.cfg.)Add as follows:ARF-Java-VM-Options : -Dhttp.proxySet=true -Dhttp.proxyHost=-Dhttp.proxyPort=320 "Chapter 12—Creating and Using Web Services
