Every cross-platform CLIcommand opens a separate <strong>AR</strong> <strong>System</strong> Import session, executes thecommand, and logs out. Therefore, you must log in with every command. If<strong>AR</strong> <strong>System</strong> Import does not find the user name, <strong>AR</strong> <strong>System</strong> Import prints theusage messages and exits.Note: On Chinese UNIX systems, CSV and ASCII files cannot be importedif they contain Date/Time fields.When using the arimportcmd feature on Japanese UNIX systems, convertthe data and .arm mapping files to EUC format before the files are movedto the UNIX server. (The .arx and .xml data files are already in EUC formatwhen they are generated in the client tool, but the .csv file is not.Therefore, the .arm and .csv files must be converted.) Ensure that all of thedata file names and a mapping file name are in English.
