Ah and theyalso produce different things what we order and what wehave experience in in, ah, different handicrafts.Interviewer: I notice, um, some of the things you havein the shop are gongs, made out of landmines…Sabay: Gongs are also made from the recycled bombshells and it is made by the villagers who, who are livingin Udong. Udong is the former, the former capital of,ahh, Cambodia before.Interviewer: And are there a lot of landmines aroundthat area?Sabay: Yes there are a lot of landmines in Cambodialike especially during the, during the, about nearlythree decades of Cambodia war, so many different, ahh,different factions, different sides, they have the mines intheir land, so many people can affected because of thelandmines.Interviewer: So you sell things from the villages, butyou also have many people working here in the shop inPhnom Penh.Sabay: You know all the young Cambodian people are,who are working in Rajana every day, they feel veryhappy and they work very hard in here. <strong>The</strong>y try to workas hard as they can. And, and they have also have fairwages for themselves, and they have to provide theirfamilies in the, ah, in the villages as wellInterviewer: So Sabay, you’re the General Manager ofthis project, um, what does that involve?Sabay: Ahhh, now do you know I, when I was inthe shops, I also do the accounts in the morning, andsometimes I have to go outside to do some marketingresearch, and sometimes I give, I have to promote, ah,our, our Rajana name more and more, sometimes I comeand I have to sell in the shop as well and sometimes Ihave to do some design.Interviewer: Um, you said when you first started thatthe funding was provided by an NGO. Do you stillreceive money from the NGO?Sabay: Now we don’t have any funds or donations fromother NGO.
