Attitudes tocontraception and the willingness to access services also affect terminationrates.Trend data for Barnsley (ONS figures) show an increase in the percentage ofconceptions leading to abortion since 1998, when 28.2% of under 18conceptions ended in terminations, compared to 42% in 2007.
